Copper is indispensable for normal hair and skin pigments, for the connective tissues and for the functioning of the nerve system.

It is, in combination with the trace element Selenium, responsible for protecting the cells from oxidative stress and free radicals, which are a result of daily harmful environmental conditions.

Therefore, Copper has the characteristics of an Antioxidant and is involved in the maintenance of normal energy metabolism.

Combined with Zinc, Copper contributes to a normally functioning immune system.
